Newbridge Civil Pty Ltd was established in 2013 by Mark Rushbrook and Gary Preddey; two industry leaders in buried corrugated metal structures, mechanically stabilized earth walls, and small bridges. We inspect, design, supply, project manage and install these structures, basing our operations within the mining and civil infrastructure markets. Our in-house design engineers, project managers and civil contractors can organize this work under a convenient single contract, saving asset owners time and money. From conceptual design to installation, our company offers a complete one-stop shop for your small bridge, tunnel, culvert and wall infrastructure needs.
Mark’s background is in industrial engineering and he has 25 year’s experience in manufacturing, sales, project and business management. Mark’s long experience with our products has given him a unique understanding of the materials and manufacturing processes that effect product quality, safety and delivery. Mark has administered and negotiated contracts for corrugated steel mining products for major asset owners BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Anglo American and Xstrata. Mark is the General Manager of Newbridge Civil and supervises the sales and marketing function as well as contract negotiation and supply logistics.
Gary is a structural engineer who has designed buried corrugated structures for 20 years and was instrumental in development of the new Australian Standard for these products. In this time, he has designed most of Australia’s corrugated steel stockpile tunnels, mine portals and haul road bridges. Gary’s design experience includes two years in North America where he maintains contact with the world’s leading researchers. He is a committee member for the new Australian bridge code. Gary is currently Projects Director for Newbridge Civil, overseeing project site staff, in-house design engineers, external suppliers, consultants and contractors.
